Welded  Flights/Profiles

All SYNCHROFLEX^® TIMING BELTS from T2.5  pitch can be retrofitted with welded flights. The required number of flights are thermally welded to the back of the belt as per the customer's drawing. Pitch tolerance achievable for each individual flight = ± 0.5 mm. Over two hundred standard flight shapes are presently available and new profiles can be produced to meet special customer requirements. The flights can be manufactured with moulded inserts or other inclusions to the customer's specification..

Moulded Flights/Profiles

SYNCHROFLEX^® TIMING BELTS with special flights, e. g. cams or profiles moulded with the belt, offer the designer a vast range of opportunities. Moulded flight belts can be recommended for conveying, feeding, indexing or positioning tasks.

Maximum precision is achieved by the manufacture in one operating step using a timing belt mould. Customer requirements in regard to the dimensions of the flights and their number can be taken into consideration at the time of producing the new mould. Best flight pitch tolerance achievable = ± 0,05 mm.
